Mad-City Cuddle Party
Could you do with more good, clean, affectionate touch in your life? Have you ever been afraid to ask for what you want? Have you ever said yes, when you were really a no? Ready to make better relationship choices? Want to know what an "Oxytocin high" feels like?
A "yes" to any one of these questions has been enough to draw some participants to a Mad-City Cuddle Party. There they discovered a community of fun, open people ready to gently expand their intimacy comfort zone, strengthen their honesty aptitude, and bliss out on warm safe connection. Join us... you might just get hooked!
A Cuddle Party lasts for 4 hours:
Doors open at 1 pm.
1:00-1:30pm: Arrive, check in and put on pajamas. Please bring clean, comfy clothes to cuddle in. Also bringing a snack to share is welcomed. Think breath-friendly, but no worries, we always have plenty of Altoids!
1:30-2:15pm: The Welcome Circle. Attendees MUST be present for the whole welcome circle to participate. If you are not here by 2:30pm and have not called, you will not be able to participate. Please call 608-219-3491 if you are running late.
2:15-4:30pm: Freestyle practice time with affectionate nurturing touch - what we call "Cuddling".
4:30-5:00pm: Puppy Pile (optional), closing circle, and goodbyes.

The Rules of "Cuddling"
The Cuddle Party rules are tried and true, and there’s a logic to them that goes deeper than you might think to create a safe, fun environment for people to connect. At a Mad-City Cuddle Party, the first 40 minutes or so includes an explanation of the rules that you can put to use everyday. Intrigued? Come to a Cuddle Party!
And with no further ado…
The Rules
ARRIVE ON TIME: Once we begin the Welcome Circle and orientation, sorry, we can let no one enter late. This creates comfort and safety by knowing that everyone is on the same page about rules and expectations.
WHAT TO WEAR: Pajamas – nothing too risqué. Think more comfy than sexy. (More drawstrings, less lace! No shorts or nighties please.)
WHAT TO BRING: Sorry, no liquor folks. Juice or sparkling cider is always welcome as are treats and snacks to share. A pillow or stuffed animal if you like. Otherwise, just bring your smiling self.
STICK TO THE RULES:
- Pajamas stay on the whole time.
- You don’t have to cuddle anyone at a Cuddle Party, ever.
- You must ask permission and receive a verbal YES before you touch anyone. (Be as specific in your request as you can.)
- If you’re a yes, say YES. If you’re a no, say NO.
- If you’re a maybe, say NO.
- You are encouraged to change your mind.
- Respect your relationship agreements and communicate with your partner.
- Get your Cuddle Party Facilitator or the Cuddle Assistant if you have a question or concern or need assistance with anything during the Cuddle Party.
- Tears and laughter are both welcome.
- Respect people’s privacy when sharing about Cuddle Parties.
- Keep the Cuddle space tidy
